Not only can we offer a diverse menu for your event, but we can also help you in the planning stages as well. We can assist you with all of your event needs – everything from finding that perfect location to ordering breath-taking floral arrangements or renting just the right furniture, table settings and equipment to make your wedding or party truly unforgettable. We can also take care of your special needs, such as ordering wedding cakes and hiring photographers.

Santa Barbara Barbeque is more than just barbeque- It's gourmet catering and grilling. We have gained a reputation for consistently serving the highest quality food which is grilled on site. We prepare all of our food from scratch including all appetizers, sauces, and dressings. We do not use any prepackaged or frozen appetizers or entrees.

Do you provide the freshest food possible? Is it prepared primarily on-site at your event or do you serve pre-packaged frozen appetizers and entrees lacking in freshness, quality and taste?

Yes, Santa Barbara Barbeque always provides the freshest food possible, cooked on site using the freshest ingredients bought locally. We work with local suppliers to ensure that all ingredients are fresh at the time of your event.

Does Santa Barbara Barbeque do more than grill?

Yes, we offer far more than grilled food. Our menus include entrees prepared by our formally trained chefs. Only a few of our entrees are grilled so always ask if you have something special in mind. We can do anything from Thai to French cuisine. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options as well.

How can we sample your food?

We would love for you and a guest to come in and meet us to taste all we have to offer. Tastings are a great time for us to meet with our clients in person to discuss the details of their event. Tastings are free of charge for two guests; additional guests will be $25.00 per guest. If you sign with us, the tasting cost will be waived.

How much does Santa Barbara Barbeque charge to cater? Can you work within a budget?

At Santa Barbara barbeque we will always work hard to customize a catering package that works within your budget. Menu content, location, service style, length of time, and the design of your event determine the final price.

Do I need to have a set budget before calling Santa Barbara Barbeque?

Having a budget in mind when calling Santa Barbara Barbeque is always a good idea. It allows us to know how to better customize a catering package to fit your needs. We are always happy to work within your budget and make sure your event is a success. If you do not have a set budget in mind, we would be happy to discuss a number of different packages with you to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for.

How do we reserve Santa Barbara Barbeque for our event?

Once we have customized a package to fit your needs, a signed contract and fifty percent deposit ensures that your event date will be reserved.

How far in advance should I book with Santa Barbara Barbeque to lock in my date?

It is never too soon to reserve your date. Many venues are booked over 1 year in advance, so it’s not unusual to have the caterer booked at that time as well. Dates in the height of the wedding season should be booked 6 months in advance. However, do not hesitate to call about availability at any time.

What is the average size of a Santa Barbara Barbeque Catered Event?

At Santa Barbara Barbeque we do everything from large corporate events with fifteen hundred guests to intimate weddings and small drop-offs for fifteen. Most of our events are for one hundred to two hundred and fifty guests; however we can always customize a package to meet your needs.

Are you licensed and insured?

Santa Barbara Barbeque is a licensed full-service catering company. We carry business liability insurance and workers compensation. We have health permits and a business license.

Is there a cancellation fee once we have reserved a date and signed a contract?

There is no cancellation fee if your event is canceled 3 months prior to the date reserved. Event dates are at a premium and once a date is reserved, we will have to turn down other potential clients.

Can you recommend other vendors to help us with our event?

Santa Barbara Barbeque has developed great relationships with local vendors and we would be happy to help you by passing on our list of recommended vendors.
